Crystal Rapids Splatter & Splash is DIY Invasion's signature splatter and splash room — and the very first of its kind in Queensland. Every guest gets their own paint pots and paint bombs, full protective gear, and a private room to unleash in, with zero setup or cleanup to worry about. You just show up ready to go all-in.

Splatter & Splash Room (Standard Session)
One of our most-loved paint-flicking session! Approximately 45 minutes total, including your safety briefing. Perfect for couples, friend groups, duo splatter therapy, or anyone who just wants in on the mess without the party trimmings.
Family Package (2 Adults + 2 Children)
Built for a family of four, the Family Package bundles two adult and two children together and saves you $20 compared to booking each spot separately. Got an extra family member joining in? Simply add them on via our Extras options at checkout.
Splatter & Splash Extravaganza Kids Birthday Party
Our full birthday party experience, locked in for 2 hours so there's time for cake, presents, photos and the celebration itself — not just the splash. Minimum 8 people required.

Good to Know Before You Dive In
✔️ Standard session duration:
Approximately 45 minutes, including your safety briefing.
✔️ Birthday party duration:
2 hours locked in for the full celebration, with roughly 20–45 minutes of that spent inside the splash room.
✔️ Ages:
Suitable from age 1+, with a parent or guardian supervising young children.
✔️ What's provided:
Poncho, hair cap, safety goggles, paint pots and paint bombs.
✔️ What to bring:
Enclosed, grippy shoes (no thongs, slides or bare feet — grip socks are okay), and a spare change of clothes or towel if you'd like one.
✔️ The paint:
Water-based, non-toxic, vegan, kids-safe poster paint conforming to Australian Standard AS 8124.3.
✔️ Cleaning up:
We don't have showers on site, but there's a hose with a shower attachment and toilets available for rinsing off and changing.
✔️ Optional extras:
Canvases, shirts and caps available to purchase on the day, plus extra paint pots to add to any booking.
✔️ Group bookings:
Birthday parties require a minimum of 8 people.

The Standard Session is a straightforward ~45-minute splatter session for any group. The Family Package bundles 2 adults and 2 children together and saves you $20 versus booking separately (extra family members can be added via Extras). The Extravaganza is a full kids' birthday party package, locked in for 2 hours to cover cake, presents and photos, with 20–45 minutes of that time spent actually inside the splash room.
As messy as you want it to be. Full head-to-toe paint is completely normal — but if you'd rather stay mostly clean, your protective gear has you covered while you still join in.
Yes — children as young as one can take part with a parent or guardian supervising throughout the session.
